I’m the mother of Kiptyn Stepanik, he has recently been diagnosed with Keratoconus, which is basically a warped cornea. It is effecting both eyes with his left eye being the worst. There is no cure but thankfully there is a procedure called Cornea Crosslinking that stops the progression, which he will have done in July in DC. Unfortunately insurance does not cover this procedure so we are responsible for $10,000 out of pocket to save his eyesight. Anyone who truly knows our family we do not ask for anything but when it comes to our kids we put the pride aside and do what needs done. Thank you for any consideration or help, it’s appreciated!
