My name is Gyes, and I’m raising funds to begin the process of getting a psychiatric service dog through Nitro K-9. I have always had issues mentally, but over the past three years, my anxiety, panic attacks, and symptoms from PTSD and borderline personality disorder have become much harder to manage. Everyday tasks can feel overwhelming, and I often struggle to stay grounded and safe. After a lot of research, I’ve learned that a trained service dog could make a real difference in my life by providing support and stability when I need it most.
I don’t have a dog yet, but I’ve chosen Nitro K-9 because of their strong reputation and affordable training programs. The service dog will be trained to help me recognize and manage panic and anxiety attacks, provide pressure therapy, and interrupt self-harming behaviors. These skills are essential for my safety and well-being and will help me regain some independence and confidence in my daily life.
The funds raised will go directly toward the adoption and training costs through Nitro K-9. I’m reaching out for help now because my symptoms are becoming more difficult to control, and I need this support to keep moving forward. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation or sharing my fundraiser. Your support will help me take the next step toward stability and healing.
