We are reaching out on behalf of our beloved, James Rudolf Giannini II — known to most simply as Jimmy — who was recently diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This life-altering diagnosis came suddenly and has progressed more rapidly than any of us could have anticipated.
Jimmy has always been someone who lives simply, asks for little, and gives freely of himself to others. He’s the kind of person who never seeks the spotlight, never asks for help — but right now, he needs us.
Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward easing the financial burdens that come with this diagnosis. These include essential medical treatments, in-home assistance, adaptive equipment, and other critical needs that will help Jimmy maintain his quality of life and independence for as long as possible.
Any additional funds that remain after meeting his care needs will be passed along to his daughter — a gesture we know Jimmy would deeply appreciate, as his love and devotion to his family remain unwavering.
This is a profoundly difficult and unprecedented chapter for Jimmy and for all who care about him. Our goal is to ensure that, with the support of family, friends, and kindhearted strangers, Jimmy receives the comfort, dignity, and care he deserves in the time ahead.
