Donate to Ease Del Roe’s Cancer Journey

My name is Cyndee Balzer and I have worked at Gladwin Community Schools for over 30 years. In that 30 years I always saw a young man cleaning class rooms at the High School ,doing custodial work. As years passed by I noticed he was part of the maintenance crew because I would see him mowing the lawns around the schools, plowing snow or putting salt down so the students and faculty wouldn’t fall on the sidewalks. I would come to know is name and a little bit about him. This man has become one of the go to guys if there are any problems that need attention. This man’s name is Delbert Roe, known as “Del”. Del has poured his life into helping maintain the school’s buildings and the grounds. He has always been a super sweet guy and is very helpful. I know that he is huge into the mud bogs, loves his wife and family. So it broke my heart to learn that he was diagnosed with cancer. It has been weighing heavy on me and I really want to do something for him so he and his family can spend some quality time making some great memories. He will probably kill me when he finds out that I am doing this, because I know he is a proud man and can pay his bills, but I also know that this a very stressful time with added bills, gas going back and forth for treatments. He is so dedicated he is still working everyday and before he gets to the point where it is too much I really would love to see him go and do something with those that matter the most to him and make some great memories. So there you have it. If you have a few bucks you could donate to a SUPER GREAT CAUSE, Please do I know it will be appreciated. And please keep Del and his family in your prayers! Thank you so much !

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
