Hi everyone. As you may or may not know, my brother was diagnosed on April 15th with a rare lung cancer at the age of 50. He has not been able to work since April 30th and currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy every 21 days along with weekly visits for weekly bloodwork. During this time off he has not had any income. Him and his wife are depending on her income (cut short due to missing work for appointments and no overtime available) therefore causing additional stress for my brother. They were denied for state Medicaid and any state benefits. We are asking for help to assist with medical expenses (Dr visit copayments, medications, protein shakes, and monthly truck payment until his social security disability starts in November. This is their only means of transportation to get him to and from his appointments and they have less than 8-months remaining on the loan.
