Carol Coore-Small is seeking assistance to purchase-a bypass open heart surgery kit and aortic balloon pump catheter and to pay surgeon and hospital fees, to do open heart coronary artory bypass grafting surgery to save her life.
She is currently in the University Hospital of the West Indies as she has experience numerous heart attacks in the past few weeks, with pain in the chest, shortness of breath, a racing heartbeat, and extreme fatigue, which have severely impacted her ability to live her everyday life. In addition, her blood pressure and diabetes is contributing to her inability to work to cover these bills.
Thankfully, health insurance will reduced the cost a bit, but she still needs to raise approximately J$2.5 million (US$16,000) to cover the remaining expenses. As time is critical, we are turning to the kindness and generosity of friends, family, and even strangers to help her meet this financial challenge.
Carol has always been the heart of our family, but now, her own heart needs urgent help. We understand that not everyone may be able to give, but sharing this campaign with others can make a huge impact. Together, we can give Carol the chance to live a healthier, fuller life.
