Candice Smile with Confidence Again
We’re reaching out today with love and hope on behalf of my sweet sister, Candice.
Candice was born with (hypothesis) which is water on the brain, slow developments, and it also effected her teeth growth —that’s affected her ability to eat, speak, and feel confident in herself. She will be 49 in August and loves her birthdays. She is the most loving, outgoing, beautiful soul. My amazing mother has always cared for her and has lived her life making sure she was living the best life she could. Candice is on a level of about a 10 yr old yet very smart, and self sufficient in many ways. She also had open heart surgery in 1988, along of our father passing as well. The past two years she’s been managing a fib and had two cardio version done.
For years, her amazing uncle Glenn stepped in and lovingly crafted retainers to help her live more comfortably. He gave her the gift of a smile, and for that we are forever grateful.
But now, Uncle Glenn has sadly passed away, and Candice’s retainers are broken and unusable. It’s been over a year since she’s had anything that helps, and we’ve reached a point where she truly needs a permanent and lasting solution.
Candice is beyond excited at being able to eat better, speak better, and the thought of having a real, confident smile—something many of us take for granted. We’ve started the process, but unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover all the costs, and the remaining out-of-pocket expenses are more than we can manage alone.
We are humbly asking for help from our family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers. Your contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward helping Candice finally get the dental care she needs to thrive. This will not only improve her ability to eat and speak, but more importantly, it will restore her confidence and comfort in everyday life.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement means the world to us—and most of all, to Candice.
With love and gratitude,
Diane, Candice & Christy
