Cancer Journey into Radiation Therapy

Hi my name is Carrie, I’m fund raising for myself as I face my Cancer Journey of radiation therapy as well as medical Oncology treatments..

As an assult survivor and advocate for those whom have been silenced I find myself battling Breast Cancer in a fast and furious diagnosis after a previous car accident and long battle with PTSD. I love animals, community and arts and crafts.

My future plans are of course to Beat Cancer and obliterate it’s existence in my body…but alas I find myself facing treatments and the financial hardship that comes with having been diagnosed with PTSD in prior years due to sexual assult.( I’m finding my way through the dark. If incan anyone can. )

Once fight with Cancer is behind me I plan to train and give back through mental health to help others that are suffering as many do in silence. But for now… I find myself needing to ask for assistance with travel, stay, medical costs and the fact that my Bestie,

(my husband) is taking time off of his work to care for me.

I pray that my journey isn’t long in beating this awful disease but since surviving PTSD I’m grateful for the chance to fight Cancer and fight hard I will!!!

So if you are able, any little bit helps even a “get well soon” makes a huge difference!!!

So if you stumble accross my post and can help….my plan is to recover. And to give back in the future with peer supports and working with survivors to help them find their voices again too!!

Cancer doesn’t have to be a death sentence and I’m all about those Silver Linings. ❣️❣️
