Hello there
My name is Dr. Michael Mitch Ahumuza, from Uganda, a medical doctor by training, but a changemaker by calling. I am fundraising for a free medical care outreach for a low income community in Masindi District, Uganda
My mission? To make healthcare not just a service, but a human right, reaching those most in need, where they are, with dignity and compassion. As Co-Founder of Avicare Health, a homegrown telemedicine and home care startup, I’ve been at the forefront of transforming how healthcare is delivered across Uganda, outside hospital walls, into homes, and into communities often left behind.
But today, I’m writing to you not just as a healthcare leader but as a human being on a mission.
With AVICARE HEALTH We’re organizing a Free Medical Camp, an outreach dedicated to bringing lifesaving services to underserved communities that face impossible choices between food and medicine. These are people who don’t have the luxury of waiting in long hospital queues. Some walk for miles to reach a nurse. Others go without care entirely.
That’s where you come in.
As a clinician, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of collective action. I’ve seen young leaders rally together to build businesses, transform policy, and yes, deliver care where no one else will. Through my personal networks, we’re mobilizing a powerful volunteer force of clinicians, pharmacists, counsellors, and youth mentors.
But we need support to make this possible.
We’re seeking donations, supplies, and partnerships to cover everything from medications to mobile diagnostic tools and sanitary kits to transport logistics. Every contribution—large or small, goes directly to delivering real care to real people.
Let’s make it happen together.
