My name is Joaquin, or Kino, for those who know me. If you do know me you know that I am a BIG dude. I always have been. I have recently been talking to a bariatric surgeon about making a big change in my life. While the surgery itself is covered by my insurance, it does require me to do a six month diet plan with their dietitian, which is not covered by my insurance. The initial consultation visit is $195 and every follow up is $95. I can not afford that at the moment, and I need to get this started by the beginning of August. It has taken a lot to make myself comfortable with doing this, but I really need to. My kids are getting older and everything im doing right now is for them. Due to other medical issues, this surgery is the only way I can make this change. I am doing everything I can to make all the changes I need to so I can continue to watch these babies grow up and live a life far better than mine. Any donation is amazing.
