Hi, I’m Aurora, and I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of my bottom surgery. This is something I’ve thought about, planned for, and quietly hoped for most of my life. Now I’m finally in a place where I’m ready to take the next step — and I need help getting there.
For those who don’t know, I’m transgender. While I’ve taken a lot of steps toward living as myself, this surgery is a major part of what I need to feel truly comfortable and at home in my body. It’s not about being “perfect” or fitting anyone else’s idea of who I should be. It’s about peace, freedom, and moving through the world without the disconnect I’ve carried for so long.
I’ve chosen a skilled surgeon whose work I trust, and the total cost — including the procedure, travel, accommodations, and recovery — comes out to $32,642.64. It’s a big number, and one I can’t manage on my own right now. That’s why I’m asking for support.
I’m not expecting miracles, and I’m not here to pull at anyone’s heartstrings. I just know that sometimes community can do what we can’t do alone. If you feel moved to donate, I’m deeply grateful. If you can’t, sharing this with someone who might be able to help would mean a lot too.
