So many people have reached out to our family asking if there is anything Matt and Brandi need or if there is anything they can do to help them during this time. Anyone who truly knows these two knows they would never ask for handouts or let on when or if they needed anything.
On May 23, 2025, Matt was in a terrible MVC that, thankfully, spared his life; however, it totaled his truck and left him with injuries that only time will heal. He has a fractured sternum and had a nasty fracture of his right femur head that required a serious orthopedic surgery and left him non-weight bearing for at least 6 weeks.
One day shy of a month before the accident, these two put their faith in each other and themselves and made a move to Alabama for a fresh start, to be closer to her family and oldest children, and to continue to expand their business that they were quickly and actively making a success.
Their new normal looks a lot different for now and will continue that way until he heals and is able to get back out there 100%. Until then, the weight of keeping their family, lives, and business afloat and their bills paid has fallen on Brandi. She has more on her plate and shoulders than 5 or 6 people right now and, while it’s one of the hardest things she’s ever done, she does her best to continue to show up and take care of everyone else like she always has. Most days she forgets to take care of herself, much less give herself grace.
A lot of their detailing supplies were in the truck during the accident, so they’re still trying to sift through the wreckage to see what is what. For anyone who has asked what can be done to help relieve a little of the stress off of Matt, Brandi, and their precious family, I’m starting this fundraiser to try and alleviate some of the financial stress for them for now and give them a little time to breathe.
