Hi everyone,
Amber is a single mom doing her best to care for two amazing children, Ayden and Ava. I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support during a very difficult time for her little family.
Recently, Amber underwent a discectomy surgery to relieve severe spinal pain caused by a herniated disc. It had reached the point where she could barely walk or stand for long periods, and the pain was affecting every part of their life—including the ability to care for her kids and work. The surgery was necessary, but it also means she is unable to return to work until fully recovered.
As a school district employee, she does not qualify for disability coverage, and her savings have gone toward medical expenses, outstanding insurance deductibles from the hospital stay, and keeping them afloat these past few weeks. Utilities, groceries, and other basic needs are piling up—and she deserves to keep a safe, stable home for her children while she heals.
It is incredibly out of character for her to ask for help, but I know that sometimes, we all need a shoulder to lean on. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help cover monthly expenses (utilities, groceries, school and sports needs for the kids, and transportation to her follow-up appointments) while she recovers and prepares to return to work as soon as she is able to.
Every little bit helps, and every share brings us closer to getting her family through this tough chapter. If you can give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you can’t, sharing her story means the world to us too.
