I’m raising funds for:
- My upcoming Top Surgery. It’s very difficult to get insurance to cover any of these expenses, as a result, I am hoping to tuck away at least $10,000.
- Aftercare and time off work to heal.
Top Surgery would mean:
- Swimming comfortably
- Seeing myself and smiling
- Feeling euphoric in my identity and self
- Going to social events with confidence
- Working out without pain
- Being me
My dysphoria is very real. I’ve avoided wearing clothing that shows my chest. Binding for years gets painful. I’ve hid my identity in various work environments due to my chest being a dead giveaway of my transness. It’s difficult to feel safe. My large chest is frustrating, especially when working out, swimming, or wearing tight clothing. I’ve never felt at home in my body and often struggle to leave the house.
I’m currently on the waitlist for Top Surgery and have renewed my Letter of Approval. I’m currently waiting to get off the wait list and set a surgery date, which could happen any day now.
I cannot do this alone. Any amount of money would be extremely appreciated. I don’t ask for help often, but it’s difficult to even pay my rent. Thank you for helping me find my trans joy.
