Hi, my name is Shawn Dixon.
I am the father of the little girl who’s in the picture, Triada Dixon. My daughter has a rare kind of cancer. I recently found out from doctors that she will be doing a 2-year chemotherapy, which is very costly. Anyone out there who knows what it’s like to have kids in this condition would know what I am going through as a father. Knowing that my daughter is a very jovial and happy little girl, she’s very strong, quiet, and never scared to take chances. But now, as a father who dwells in the care and love of his kids, I’m asking for anyone with a kind heart in this world for your help and support on this journey, hoping and praying that God revisits the doctors in the treatment room for properly caring for her.
So she can be well and come back home to her loving family. Thank you for reading and showing the initiative to help and support the future of our kids because they are the next generation to come. Let’s hope and pray that she gets the help she needs for the chemotherapy treatment. She will be treated mainly at Children’s National in Washington, DC, and follow-up treatment will be in Rockville, Maryland, and further. Thank you,
Shawn Dixon.
