Our beloved friend, Gideon Bendile, is facing a battle no one should ever have to endure and has been in a rehabilitation center for 6 years. Gideon, the inspiring lead singer and dancer of Zulu Spear and Ipi Ntombi, lost his leg, which has been a devastating and life-changing experience! This is an extremely challenging and unrelenting condition where more and more challenges continue to arise. Gideon has always been a beacon of kindness, hard work, and love. He has spent his life devoted to bringing about positive changes in this world in his selfless influence in music for peace around the globe.
For those of us lucky enough to know him, he is truly a blessing. Gideon has been a true giver to humanity. Now, as he is finally ready to leave the rehab center through his tireless and consistent difficult daily work, he needs to learn to receive from others. A handicap-friendly home for Gideon with an accessible shower and stove will give him the right environment he needs to begin again. Physical special needs spaces come at a significant cost. This is an overwhelming financial burden on Gideon, who has not been able to work since the tragedy. He needs hope. Please join us in giving him some relief so that he can thrive.
