Hi, I’m Jennifer and I’m raising funds for the assistance of Lynn Davis’ medical care and assistance with monthly bills. When Lynn was out of high school, he enlisted and was of service in the Coast Guard. After which, he decided that his passion was to help others. Lynn ventured into the path of education and IT, which he has done for the majority of his career. Lynn is a father of 3, stepfather of 4, and has 6 granddaughters.
Lynn was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure in March of 2024, having less than 10% of kidney function. He was in the hospital for 1 week as they came up with a plan of action. On July 3, 2024, he suffered 3rd degree burns on the bottom of his feet. This occurred due to him walking outside barefoot on hot pavement. These burns ended up getting infected. Lynn was hospitalized on 9/24/2024 due to the infection and on 9/26/2024 he underwent surgery which ended in a partial amputation of his right leg and partial amputation of his left foot.
Since then, Lynn has been in and out of the hospital several times, most recently on June 4th. He was retaining water (approximately 40 lbs) of excess fluid which is now affecting his heart.
We are raising funds to help cover his hospital expenses, his ongoing rehab, and to assist with lost wages.
Lynn has a heart of gold. His children and grandchildren are the apple of his eye. Always positive and willing to help, Lynn makes friends wherever he is. He strives to make others feel welcomed; offering support, friendship, and advice while challenging others to be their best. Still to this day, former students reach out to say hello and thank Lynn for his support.
Lynn tries to give back to the community whenever he can, from volunteering to feed those experiencing homelessness during the holidays, donating goods to those less fortunate, or just being an ear to those that are in need.
I am asking that you give generously in support of Lynn. Let’s show our love and support to a man who has given so generously of himself to help others over the years. Thank you in advance for your help. Can’t donate? That’s ok, words of encouragement and support provide more than you know.
