While Austin is your typical energetic, football loving kid, some of you may know he struggles with debilitating migraines. While getting an MRI for his headaches, it turned into a parent’s worst nightmare. Austin was diagnosed with Chiari malformation, which prevents fluid from the brain to drain properly into the spinal cord. This is causes his brain to be incredibly decompressed which result in migraines, which have the side effects of vomiting, weakness, dizziness, and now has started to effect his balance and his motor skills. After meeting with specialists we were told that Austin needs undergo brain surgery with an 8 week recovery time. Due to Austin needing constant care and not being able to be left alone, this means Jennah will have to take atleast 8 weeks or more from work, leaving no income to help and support everyday living expenses for her and her 2 kids, along with medical and traveling to Boston. I’m setting up this fundraiser to help ease the stress with the bills to come. All donations will go directly to the family to help cover their essential costs, from rent to groceries, to medical related expenses- so she can focus on what matters most: helping her son.
