My name is Fe, My brother Lawrence . I’m reaching out to share something very personal and difficult that our family is currently going through.
Just a week before Father’s Day, Lawrence suffered a hemorrhagic stroke — a severe type of stroke caused by bleeding in the brain. He had to undergo emergency brain surgery, and for all of us, it was a terrifying and heartbreaking time.
Lawrence is a hardworking single father who has always done everything he could for his daughter. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state has been incredibly painful for our family, but we are also incredibly thankful — he survived.
Right now, Lawrence is still in the hospital recovering. He’s begun his rehabilitation, but he currently has paralysis on his left side and is unable to move it. We’re hoping and praying that with time, therapy, and support, he will continue to improve. But the road ahead is uncertain.
As a family, we are doing everything we can to care for him and support his recovery. At the same time, we are reaching out for any help, prayers, or support anyone can offer during this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you so much for reading, for caring, and for keeping Lawrence and his daughter in your thoughts.
With gratitude,
Fe
