My name is Lisa Fowler. Elaina Evans and I have been the best of BFFs since 1985! Elaina was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It was a sudden diagnosis and seemed to come out of nowhere. Elaina spent over a month at the Mayo Clinic getting 24-hour chemotherapy treatment. She is currently home but has to go back to Mayo daily for treatments. She is also facing a Bone Marrow Transplant in the upcoming months.
All of this has taken a huge toll not only health-wise but financially as well. If you know Elaina, then you know that she is one of the most positive, kindest, and beautiful humans on this planet! She is fighting hard and is in great spirits!
