Our dear friend and neighbour, Caroline Ruitenbeek has recently received heartbreaking news—her Hodgkin’s Lymphoma has returned. This is not her first battle. Back in 2011, while living in Oxford, Caroline faced the same diagnosis. After enduring extensive treatments at London Health Sciences Centre, the cancer continued to return. Eventually, her doctors recommended she explore alternative options.
That search led her to the Immunity Therapy Center in Tijuana, Mexico—a place that offered hope when all else had failed. The treatments there were nothing short of life-saving, and Caroline experienced years of renewed health and strength.
Caroline, her husband Henk and their three daughters moved to Muskoka for work, embracing a new chapter in their life. But on June 17th, her doctor in Huntsville discovered that the cancer has returned once again. Understandably, Caroline is hesitant to repeat the same treatments that were unsuccessful in the past. She has already reconnected with the team in Mexico, and they are working on a personalized plan that combines conventional and natural immune-boosting therapies.
The cost of this treatment journey is significant—$17,000 USD for the therapy itself, with total expenses including travel, lodging, and meals expected to reach $30,000 CAD. The treatment is scheduled to take three weeks. We are reaching out to our community for support—whether through prayer, financial contributions, or simply sharing her story.
Caroline has always trusted in God’s provision, and we believe He will continue to guide and sustain her through this next chapter. Thank you for standing with her in faith, love, and hope.
