Hi, my name is Abigail. I was diagnosed with Stage I PR+ Breast Cancer at the age of 28. This was later confirmed to be Stage II after my double mastectomy surgery.
I am a mother to a handsome little boy who doesn’t know it but was my reason for fighting.
I was diagnosed in March 2024 after finding my own lump in January 2024. Since then, I have seen multiple doctors and had multiple surgeries, which include having my eggs frozen, 7 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, expanders placed and swapped for implants. I have also done months of physical therapy for both cording under my arm and knee pain related to my medications. I’ve seen many specialists like a cardiologist, neurologist, and rheumatologist, just to name a few.
I have officially been cleared of cancer, but now I’m left with never-ending bills that I cannot see a way out of.
I haven’t been able to work since this all started in March 2024 and have managed to stay afloat with the help of family and friends.
Now that my life is returning to some normalcy, I would like to get back on my feet again and take care of my son who just graduated pre-kindergarten.
I never wanted to create this account during my treatments, and I still am hesitant posting this now, but I’m seeing I need to ask for help.
Please kindly help me cover my medical bills and also get back on my feet.
