Hello, my name is Nikki and I am reaching out with a humble heart. My dad recently became very ill and spent a long time in the hospital. It was a very difficult time for my family and I. Much to our shock and by God’s Amazing Grace the over $200k bill was 100% covered! It turns out daddy had met his deductible!
While we are incredibly grateful for this huge blessing, the financial burden from this crisis is still very real and heavy.
He’s fallen behind on his mortgage and bills due to time he has taken off of work. Even more urgently, he now needs several medications which are extremely expensive and not fully covered by his insurance. He is scheduled to go back to work next week, but the weight of these financial setbacks and challenges are overwhelming.
My dad has worked his entire life. He is the kind of man who never asks for help and always puts his family first. He raised my siblings and I with love, strength and sacrifice. He never took vacations or “time off” he just worked to provide for his family’s needs.
If we had the money to help him ourselves, we would give it all without hesitation. But we simply don’t have the means.
That is why I am creating this fundraiser without his knowledge because I know he wouldn’t allow it if he knew about it.
My family and I are sharing this with friends, co-workers.. people we know and who know our character. We are asking you to please help us. Every little bit helps. Donations will add up!
We humbly ask that you share this with your friends and family as well. We are deeply grateful for your kindness as we also ask you keep him lifted up to The Lord, in your prayers.
Your support will help lift a heavy burden off of my dad’s shoulders and give him the peace of mind he needs for his body to heal and as he returns to work.
