Support for Lindsey & Alan’s ALS Journey

Lindsey and Alan have been married for over 25 years and share a close-knit family, including their teenage son and a granddaughter they help care for. Alan, once active and always busy with work and projects around the house, is now in the late stages of ALS. As his condition has progressed, he’s lost much of his mobility and now relies on a wheelchair. Lindsey has stepped up in every way—managing the household, working part-time, caring for their granddaughter, and even taking on odd jobs to make ends meet.

Despite the mounting challenges, Lindsey rarely shares her needs or asks for help. She’s the kind of person who tries to repay every kindness, even when it’s not necessary. Those who know and love her want to ease her burden as she navigates Alan’s care and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. Hospice visits help, but it’s unclear how much is covered by insurance, and the family faces ongoing medical expenses and the possibility of future costs, including funeral arrangements.

This fundraiser is a way for friends and family to come together and support Lindsey and Alan during this difficult time. Every contribution will help cover medical bills, home care, and any unexpected needs that arise, allowing Lindsey to focus on her family and Alan’s comfort. Your support means so much to those who care deeply for this family.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
