Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this 🙂 my name is Luiza McKaughan and I am trying to get cataract surgery.
I’m starting with one eye. I am told that I need a toric lens and that I would do better with laser surgery. I am having a challenging time finding an Ophthalmologist that takes my insurance and that does laser surgery. I have found a wonderful surgeon, but it looks like at this point it will need to be paid out-of-pocket. My diagnosis is a type of cataract that changes quickly and I can vouch for that. Seeing things in my apartment and also going down the stairs are challenging. Also, I work online tutoring and it is difficult to see writing on the screen.
