Our family is reaching out with full hearts and hopeful spirits as we face the fight of our lives—helping my dad, the incredible Chris Greene, get the lung transplant he urgently needs.
My dad Chris, the “Greene Machine,” is the strongest, most hardworking man we know. If you know Chris, you know he’s a fighter. We call him the Greene Machine for a reason. But even machines need a little help sometimes. In 20XX, he was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive lung disease that causes scarring in the lungs and makes it harder and harder to breathe. There is no cure—a double lung transplant is his only chance for survival.
We’re fundraising because a transplant isn’t just a surgery—it’s a journey. Your support will help cover:
-Travel to and from the transplant center
-Temporary housing during recovery (required to stay near the hospital)
-Medications post-surgery (lifelong and extremely costly)
-Out-of-pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance
-Lost income for caregivers taking time off to support him
