Hi, my name is Haley, and I never thought I’d be in the position to ask for help like this. I’m currently facing serious medical and housing challenges, and I’m reaching out with the hope that someone out there might be able to help ease the burden that’s become too heavy to carry alone.
I’ve been struggling with multiple complex health conditions that have left me unable to work or even manage basic daily tasks. I’m being evaluated for Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (HEDS) and already live with dysautonomia, hypertension, and orthostatic intolerance. These conditions cause intense fatigue, pain, blood pressure spikes, and mobility issues. Most days, I can barely stand, and even simple things like cleaning or preparing food have become impossible.
Because of my declining health, I’ve lost my ability to contribute financially, and my partner has been doing everything to hold us together — emotionally, physically, and financially. But the weight is becoming too much, and we are now on the brink of losing our home.
I feel like a burden, and that’s one of the hardest parts. I want nothing more than to get better, regain my independence, and take the pressure off my partner. But right now, we’re just trying to survive.
I’m asking for help to cover housing costs and medical expenses — appointments, medications, testing, and supportive care. Every dollar makes a difference and helps us stay afloat a little longer while I fight to get answers and stability.
If you’re able to share, donate, or just send a kind word, I’m incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
With love,
Haley
