Help Maryrose Repair Her Family Car

My name is Maryrose, and I’m a single mother of three children—ages 11, 10, and 7. For the past two years, I’ve watched my car become less safe and more unreliable, and it’s been heartbreaking to see how much it’s affected my family. The rear main seal is leaking, the suspension is unstable, and the windshield is so badly cracked that I worry every time I drive. The bushings and struts are falling apart, making every trip feel like a risk, and the catalytic converters are clogged, filling the car with exhaust fumes that give us headaches and make me fear for my children’s health. I’ve missed so many doctor and dentist appointments for my kids and myself because I just can’t get us there safely. I have a pelvic prolapse that needs monthly care two hours away, and my new job is 30 minutes from home—getting there on time has been a struggle due to the several issues going on with my car.

This car is more than just transportation—it’s our lifeline. Without it, my children can’t get the care they need, and I can’t keep the job that’s helping us rebuild. Every day, I worry about our safety and our future. Reliable repairs would mean so much: my kids could finally get to their appointments, I could take care of my health, and we could move forward without fear.

I’ve faced a lot over the past 3 years—surviving a divorce, overcoming homelessness, escaping a domestic violence relationship, and fighting a tough custody battle. I managed to find housing, pay off ten months of rent, and earn my welding certification, all on my own. My emotional support dog has been by my side through it all, giving me comfort when things felt impossible. Every paycheck goes toward bills and legal fees, and I’m doing everything I can to keep my family together and safe. I’m reaching out for help because I want to give my children the stability and security they deserve. Any support would mean the world to us and help us keep moving forward.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
