Help Michael Ellis Fight Diabetic Retinopathy
Hello everyone,
My name is Michael Ellis, and for the past three years, I’ve been battling diabetic retinopathy, a serious eye condition caused by complications from diabetes. Unfortunately, the condition has led to bleeding in my left eye, which has left my vision blurry and impaired.
Everyday tasks like reading text messages or recognizing faces have become difficult. I now rely on shades to reduce sensitivity and need constant help just to read or move around safely.
Over the years, I’ve undergone laser treatments and injections, and seen multiple specialists — but sadly, these treatments haven’t improved my condition. My current eye specialist has now recommended surgery as the next and most promising step to save my sight.
The challenge is: this surgery is very costly, and I’m not in a financial position to cover the expenses on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your support.
Any contribution — no matter how small — will help me move one step closer to recovering my vision and living more independently again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story, and for any help you’re able to give. Your generosity means more than words can express.
With gratitude,
Michael Ellis
