Hello everyone,
This is harder to write than I had initially thought. My parents are the kind of people who never ask for help. They’ve always worked hard, kept their heads high, and found a way through, quietly and humbly. However right now, things have gotten overwhelming, and because they won’t ask, I am. As their eldest child, I’ve done everything I can to help behind the scenes. Emotionally, financially, and logistically, but I’ve reached my limit. I’m proud to support them, and I will continue to but I can’t do it alone without drowning myself in the process. As they say an umbrella is of no use with holes in it.
I’m reaching out on behalf of my parents, who are currently going through one of the hardest chapters of their lives. My mother’s recent health complications have led to ongoing hospital visits, treatments, and mounting medical bills. My father has had to miss work repeatedly to care for her because family benefits only go so far, and time off usually lasts about a week before the strain begins to show.
The emotional toll is heavy, but the financial stress is becoming unbearable. My dad is doing everything he can to hold on to his job, but between hospital runs, caregiving, and lost wages, he’s barely keeping his head above water. They’ve always been strong for our family but right now, they need help.
We’re asking for your support to help cover:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance.
Basic living expenses during this time.
Lost wages from my father’s missed work.
Any contribution, big or small, will help ease their burden and give them space to breathe, rest, and focus on healing.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this means the world to us too. May we all find peace during these times, and may those who lend a helping hand be richly blessed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With love,
Michelle
