Hi, my name is Rose! I’m a 33-year-old professional author and artist currently raising funds for top surgery. I came out as genderqueer and trans to my friends and family in 2019, but it’s something I’ve felt inside my entire life. This procedure is something I’ve needed for several years now and would dramatically improve my quality of life and my overall health. After several not-so successful attempts to go through my insurance and save the funds on my own, I have decided to try reaching out to the community.

I’ve been approved to schedule my surgery this year at one of the top-rated surgeons in the United States, but unfortunately he’s located out of state in Ohio, which adds to the procedure expenses. Here is what your donations would cover:

$8175 – Surgery cost

$300 – Breast tissue pathology testing

$575 – Lodging/travel

$250 – Securing the surgery date
