Hi, my name is Nick, and I’m reaching out because I need help with my dental care. I know during my life I could have taken better care of my teeth, but between my diabetes and vitamin deficiencies, over the last few years, I have lost multiple teeth to the point where I can no longer chew without pain.
At first, I thought it was just a couple of teeth, but unfortunately, this has become a serious health concern. I struggle to chew my food, and there’s a constant risk of choking. I have to carefully chop up every meal into tiny pieces, and even then, eating is still uncomfortable and discouraging for me.
I recently visited the dentist, hoping for a solution. My family and I were heartbroken to learn that the best and really only solution was to pull all my remaining teeth and insert implants for new teeth to attach. This is the only way I’ll be able to chew safely and enjoy food again and give me back my smile.
The cost, however, is far more than we can afford on our own, even with insurance. The cost for the procedure is $55,000. Insurance is only covering a very small portion of the cost. While both my wife and I work, we are barely making ends meet and do not have the ability to finance even a portion of this cost.
If you’ve ever seen someone you love cry because they can’t eat a simple meal, you know how deeply this affects someone’s dignity and quality of life. I want to smile, laugh, and eat without pain or fear again.
If you can give anything—even just a few dollars—it would mean the world to me and my family. And if you’re not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
