Help Fedelino Fight a Brain Tumor and Reclaim His Dreams

Fedelino, a loving husband and a former seafarer, has always been a pillar of strength for his family. For five long years, he worked aboard an international cruise ship, sacrificing time with his loved ones in the Philippines just to give them a better life, as so many of our brave OFWs do. He gave his youth, energy, and strength working far from home, dreaming that one day, he could finally settle down, raise a family, and pursue a quieter, more meaningful life with his wife.
In October 2024, he finally came home for good. He and his wife, after more than two years of marriage and struggling with infertility due to PCOS, were finally cleared and ready to try for the child they had always dreamed of.
But life had a different plan.
Just a few weeks ago, Fedelino began suffering from persistent and severe headaches. At first, they thought it was just stress or fatigue. But when the pain became unbearable, they sought medical help. A CT scan revealed devastating news — a tumor in his right frontal lobe.
Everything changed in an instant.
Doctors have told us that immediate brain surgery is needed to remove the tumor and prevent further complications — potential brain damage, more intense pain, or worse. He is now scheduled for surgery, and while we pray that the tumor is benign, there’s a frightening possibility that it may be malignant. If that is the case, chemotherapy and radiation will follow.
The cost of this life-saving operation and hospitalization is roughly ₱900,000 (about $16,000 USD) — an amount that is far beyond what we can shoulder alone, especially now that Fedelino is unable to work.
We are humbly asking for your support — no matter how small — to help save a young man’s life. At just 34 years old, Fedelino is full of dreams. He wants to be a father. He wants to live a normal life with his wife. He wants to give back again, just like he always has.
