Hello, my name is Patrick Tavos. I am reaching out to you with a humble heart and a deep sense of urgency. I am raising funds to help build a safe and permanent home for my parents in Vanuatu, where we have faced numerous challenges, especially with my mum’s health.
My mum is very sick, and as her primary caregiver, I am doing my best to support her through her medical bills. This has made it incredibly difficult for me to afford a proper house for my parents. Our home has been severely damaged by cyclones over the years, and we’ve had to rebuild it time and time again, often resorting to makeshift solutions that feel far from secure.
As you can see in the pictures, our current home is not safe or stable. Every year, we struggle to overcome the destruction caused by cyclones, leaving us in a constant state of worry about our living conditions. It breaks my heart to see my parents living in such uncertainty.
I believe that with your support, we can build a better home for my parents—one that will provide them with the safety and comfort they deserve. Any contribution you can make will bring us one step closer to achieving this dream and will make a significant difference in our lives.
