Hi, my name is Alex and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.
A few months ago, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The word “cancer” was surreal. Since then, life has been a whirlwind of tests, consultations, and trying to come to terms with what lies ahead.
Right now, I’m facing major changes: port and PICC line placement, followed by an intense week of high-dose chemotherapy and a stem cell/bone marrow transplant, followed by possible radioactive iodine treatment and a lifetime of hormone therapy to replace what my body can no longer produce.
The reality is that the costs are adding up quickly: surgery, follow-up treatments, medications, travel to appointments, and the time I’ve had to take off work. It’s more than I can handle on my own.
I’m hoping to raise $50,000 to help with:
* Medical bills and treatment costs
* Post-surgery recovery and hormone therapy
* Transportation to and from appointments
* Rent, utilities, and daily expenses while I’m unable to work
If you’re able to contribute anything, I would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps lighten this load. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this page with others would mean the world to me.
I know there’s a long road ahead, but I’m staying hopeful. I’ve been blessed with amazing people in my life.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for caring. And thank you, truly, for standing with me.
With love and gratitude, Alex
