Help Angela Marcantel: A Mother’s Fight for Life and Stability
Angela’s Story
Angela Marcantel is a 46-year-old mother who has dedicated her life to raising six boys on her own. After losing both parents as a teenager (at ages 15 and 18), Angela has shown incredible strength and resilience, never asking for help while building a life for her family.
Today, Angela faces the fight of her life while pursuing her dream of earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has been diagnosed with **congestive heart failure** and a **blood clotting disorder** that has already resulted in **four dangerous blood clots in her lungs**. These life-threatening conditions have made it impossible for her to work while managing her intensive medical treatment and caring for her 12-year-old son still at home. She has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and she has ovarian cancer. She currently does not have insurance so she’s not able to get the cancer took out of her ovaries. She needs a hysterectomy that she can not afford, she is currently admitted into the hospital and has been there for a few weeks now with no plans for release yet, she is allergic to most blood thinners so they are giving her warfarin and while taking that she has to get her blood tested every 2 to 3 days but we go back to no insurance to cover this . They plan on keeping her in the hospital until her IRN is leveled out, but the clots will still be there, nothing they are doing is fixing her issues. She have very bad headaches due to blood pressure and stress.
The Crisis
Despite her determination to remain independent, Angela now faces an impossible situation:
– **Immediate Housing Crisis**: Angela is facing eviction on June 22nd, just days away
– **Medical Emergency**: Her serious heart condition and pulmonary blood clots require ongoing treatment
– **Educational Goals at Risk**: She’s working toward her psychology degree but may have to abandon her studies
– **No Safety Net**: Angela receives no government assistance and has no family support system
– **Mounting Bills**: Medical expenses and basic living costs are overwhelming her limited resources
# A Family in Need: Help Us Get Back on Our Feet
I’m reaching out to our community during one of the most challenging times in our lives. My wife Angie and I have been together for 25 years, and we’re the proud parents of six boys—four together and two from previous relationships.
Our Current Situation
I’ve dedicated my life to hard work and providing for my family through my small home remodeling business, No Limits Remodeling & Haul-Off. With 30 years of experience in home renovations, I’ve always taken pride in quality craftsmanship and honest work. However, like many small businesses, we’ve been struggling to find consistent work, and the financial strain has become overwhelming.
The situation has become even more difficult as Angie battles serious health issues, requiring significant care and attention. As her primary caregiver while trying to keep our business afloat and provide for our children, I’m stretched to my limits.
How We’ve Reached This Point
Despite working tirelessly every day to find new projects and clients, our business has faced unprecedented challenges. We’ve already lost our second vehicle, leaving us with just one car for our family of five. We’re now facing the very real possibility of losing our home—something we never imagined could happen to us.
We’ve always been the type of people who help others rather than ask for help ourselves. We don’t have extended family we can turn to for support, which makes this situation even more isolating and difficult.
What We’re Asking For
We’re not looking for handouts—we’re asking for a hand up during this temporary crisis. Any contribution would help us:
– Catch up on essential bills and prevent losing our home
– Cover basic necessities for our six children
– Keep our vehicle running so I can continue working
– Support Angie’s medical needs
My Commitment to You
I want to emphasize that I’m willing to work for any assistance we receive. I’m actively seeking employment opportunities and would welcome any work in home remodeling, renovations, or related fields. You can find examples of my work and client reviews on Thumbtack and Yelp under “No Limits Remodeling & Haul-Off.”

This is incredibly difficult for us to share publicly, but we believe in the power of community and the kindness of neighbors helping neighbors. Any amount, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference in our lives. Even sharing our story helps us reach people who might be able to offer work or assistance.
We’re committed to getting back on our feet and paying forward any kindness shown to us during this difficult time. Your support would not only help our family survive this crisis but also restore our faith in the goodness of our community.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and thank you in advance for any help you can provide—whether through a donation, sharing our campaign, or offering work opportunities.

– **Congestive Heart Failure**: A serious condition affecting her heart’s ability to pump blood effectively
– **Pulmonary Embolism x4**: Four separate, potentially fatal blood clots in her lungs
– **Ovarian Cancer**: A aggressive form of cancer requiring immediate and ongoing treatment
– **Gallstones**: Painful stones in her gallbladder that may require surgical intervention
This complex combination of conditions creates a medical perfect storm, with each diagnosis compounding the others and requiring specialized care from multiple medical teams.
These conditions require:
– Daily heart medications and blood thinners
– Cancer treatment including chemotherapy and oncology appointments
– Regular cardiology and pulmonary monitoring
– Frequent blood work and diagnostic imaging
– Potential surgeries for gallbladder and cancer treatment
– Multiple specialist appointments each week
– Potential for emergency hospitalization at any time
– Severe limitations on physical activity and stress levels
**Her Financial Reality**
Angela’s medical conditions have created a perfect storm of financial devastation. Unable to work due to her serious health issues, she faces mounting expenses while her income has disappeared. Despite applying for various forms of assistance, she currently receives no government benefits, leaving her completely without a safety net.
Her financial crisis includes:
– Overwhelming medical bills and prescription costs
– Inability to work due to health limitations
– Eviction notice with just days to find housing
– Utilities at risk of disconnection
– Basic necessities becoming unaffordable
– Educational expenses for her psychology degree in jeopardy
**What Angela Cares About:**
Even while fighting for her life, Angela’s priorities remain unchanged. Her heart beats for her children – all six of her boys are her world. She believes deeply in education and personal growth, which is why she’s fighting so hard to complete her psychology degree despite her health challenges. Having experienced profound loss and hardship herself, Angela is passionate about helping others heal and overcome their struggles. She dreams of using her degree to counsel families and children facing difficult circumstances, turning her own pain into purpose.
Above all, Angela cares about showing her sons that no matter how hard life gets, you never stop fighting for what matters most. Her 12-year-old son needs his mother healthy and stable. Her older children look up to her unwavering strength. Angela has always been everyone else’s support system – now it’s time for us to be hers.
*Every share, every donation, every word of encouragement matters. Please help us show Angela that she doesn’t have to face this alone.*
