Fifteen years ago, I struggled with addiction, but I turned my life around and haven’t been in trouble since. Today, I am proud of the person I’ve become—someone who works hard, stays committed, and believes in second chances.
I now have an incredible opportunity to step into a dream role as a spokesperson at my job, where I’ll be publicly representing my company. It’s a position that means the world to me, but I worry that something as simple as my smile could hold me back. Years of wear and tear have taken a toll on my teeth, and I need extensive dental work to restore them. I do have insurance, but it barely makes a dent in the costs required.
