Eye Am Worth Foundation – Fundraiser
Help Us Give the Gift of Confidence back to people.
Hello, my name is JP Labuschagne, and I’m the world’s first one-eyed model living in NYC. Born in South Africa, I know firsthand how hard life can be when you lose an eye and can’t afford a prosthetic. For years, I lived without one — facing judgment, isolation, and a deep loss of confidence.
But everything changed the day I finally received a prosthetic eye. It wasn’t just about appearance — it gave me back my dignity. People treated me differently. I made more friends. I smiled again. And I found the strength to pursue my dream of becoming a model.
That single gift changed my life.
Now, I want to pass that gift on to others who can’t afford it.
️ What We Do
Eye Am Worth Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals around the world who are missing an eye and can’t afford a prosthetic. We raise funds to provide:
Custom-made prosthetic eyes for children, teens, and adults in need
Awareness campaigns to destigmatize facial loss and restore human dignity
We believe every person deserves to be seen — not just physically, but emotionally, socially, and spiritually. And we believe you are worth it, too.
How You Can Help
Your donation today will help cover the cost of life-changing prosthetic eyes and support services for someone who feels unseen.
Just $500–$2,500 can fully cover the cost of a custom prosthetic eye for one person. The price of a prosthetic eye does change from county to country so it is difficult to give a set price for one prosthetic eye.
Whether you give $5 or $500, every dollar helps restore a sense of wholeness, confidence, and hope.
Thank you for believing that everyone deserves to feel worthy — and to be seen.
With love and vision,
JP Labuschagne
