Hello my name is Shannon Surber. This is my father Shane. On February 4, 2025 our lives changed forever. My dad went to work like any normal day, he is a truck driver by trade. On this day he had trouble with his tarp on his truck. He climbed on top to tighten a tarp and it broke causing him to fall backwards 15 feet to ground landing on his back and head. A Good Samaritan saw him unconcious on the ground and called for help. He was life flighted to the nearest hospital which was Shreveport Louisiana. He has had numerous surgeries and at this time he still only has use of his hands and can wiggle his feet. He has been in different rehabs since his accident and his insurance is running out. Getting workers compensation is a struggle he will have to fight them in court to get any help. He has been sent home from a facility with no care at home. My mom is his only care giver. She is unable to work as he needs 24 hour care. My dad is a great dad and grandfather and it’s killing him not being able to be the provider for his family. His medical bills are piling up and he needs more medical care along with adjustments to the home due to his current physical condition. Please donate to help with expenses. Every little bit helps.
