Hello! My boy Pumpkin recently got admitted into the Rockledge Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital on 6/9/25, so far our bill has accumulated to over $5000 in just 3 days and will continue to increase every 24hrs that he is there along with next step treatments/screenings. Unfortunately, the hospital hasn’t been able to figure out what’s wrong with him yet, but are waiting on results from different tests they’re screening for and hopefully we can have more of an answer when those come in. He has had X-rays, ultrasounds, biopsies on his organs, blood work, and has had some fluid extracted from his abdomen. He is currently on a feeding tube and fluids while we wait for those results.
This has taken a huge financial toll on us considering my fiance had just purchased a new vehicle and we just recently needed to replace our A/C system. I’m also missing work often due to what my doctor suspects is chronic pancreatitis- so multiple things are happening all at once and it’s been hard for us financially.
We’re fully prepared to go broke in order for our boy to get the care he needs, but we would love to avoid that as we have other fur babies who need to be taken care of too (as well as my own health issues). Everything is needing to be paid upfront at the animal hospital, so we’re running out of options.
