Hello my name is DeAnna. I left work after 29 years to care for my 81 year old mother who is losing her memory and my aunt who has a critical condition. I do not receive any funds for doing this as I did not want any of their savings depleted. I have stage 3 chronic kidney disease; if I go to stage 4 then I have to go on dialysis. I’m on Ozempic to try to stop the progression by Medicaid will not approve it so it costs $497 for a months supply. I am not working obviously as I am currently a caregiver.
