Help Chi Chi Recover After Hit-and-Run

Our beloved Boston Terrier, Chi Chi, was recently the victim of a hit-and-run in our neighborhood. On the morning of May 25th, our backyard gate was unknowingly left unlatched after an A/C service visit. We let our dogs out like we do every morning, not realizing the gate had been left open.

Chi Chi wandered out and was struck by a speeding white Hummer on Davis Road. The impact was severe, and the driver never stopped. Despite her injuries, Chi Chi somehow ran home — on a broken leg, crying in pain the entire way.

We rushed her to Access Specialty Animal Hospital, where they discovered:

A shattered humerus

Internal bleeding

Multiple deep cuts

She has undergone emergency care, but the road to recovery is long and extremely costly. Between diagnostic imaging, surgery, and follow-up care, the medical bills are stacking up fast. We’re doing everything we can to give Chi Chi the chance to recover fully and live the happy, goofy life she deserves.

If you’ve ever met Chi Chi, you know she’s more than just a pet — she’s family. Her sweet spirit, sassy little strut, and fierce loyalty have brought so much love and joy to our lives. We’re absolutely heartbroken but determined to help her heal.

Any donation — no matter how small — would mean the world to us. Even if you’re unable to give, sharing this page would help more than you know.

Thank you for supporting our sweet Chi Chi during this incredibly tough time. We’ll keep everyone updated on her journey.

With gratitude,

Maria & Family

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
