Help Angelica Fight Triple Negative Breast Cancer
My sister, Angelica Barone, was recently diagnosed with Stage 2B Triple Negative Breast Cancer—one of the most aggressive and difficult types of breast cancer to treat. It’s a fast-spreading, seeding cancer, which means her doctors are moving quickly with an intense treatment plan through the Cleveland Clinic.
Angelica will undergo a series of life-altering treatments, including:
• A port installation for chemotherapy
• Regular rounds of aggressive chemo
• Ongoing lab work to monitor her health
• A double mastectomy
• Immunotherapy with Keytruda
• And potentially radiation (depending on how her body responds)
Angelica and her husband, Peter Barone, are facing this battle side‑by‑side. Peter will be her constant support system—advocating during consultations, driving her to appointments when needed and taking on extra responsibilities at home—all while juggling work and trying to keep life as normal as possible. On top of overwhelming medical costs, they’re also dealing with the added burden of travel expenses, strain of reduced income, and everyday bills like their mortgage, utilities, and groceries.
If you know Angelica, you know she is strong-willed, humble, and full of quiet courage. She was hesitant about us asking for help—but I told her that friends, family, and even strangers want to stand beside her in this fight. And now more than ever, she needs our support.
We’re asking for donations to help lift the financial burden so Angelica can focus on what matters most: healing and beating this.
Every donation, share, and message of encouragement helps more than you know. Thank you for showing up for her!
