Hi All,
I recently got diagnosed with Congenital Porencephaly. It’s a condition where there’s a cavity filled with cerebrospinal fluid within my brain. I have to get two urgent tests done, an EEG and an MRI, to see where it’s located (if they can) and what the next steps will be to treat it. We’re unsure if my insurance covers the tests, and the state is no help. My neuro is positive I have Partial Idiopathic Epilepsy as well, and I have to be on different medication for that.
I am on major restrictions where I can’t work, drive, or do any high-risk activities for at least 4 months. I can’t be by myself either.
I’m in the process of trying to get disability, but to get approved can take months. Due to Jesse being the only income for the next at least 4 months, we can really use the help with medical bills, and other house bills as well. It’s going to be really tough for us with me not being able to work or even be alone. He’s working on a pay raise, but it’s not happening quick enough.
I know everyone’s in a trying time right now, but anything, anyone can do to help us would be greatly appreciated.
