Hi, my name is Karmen Biasbas and I created this fundraiser for my auntie in the Philippines who recently got diagnosed with Lung Cancer Stage 4b. Here is a message from her:

I am Cecilia Merluza and I am asking for your kind help. I was recently diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4b and already spread to my brain as brain metastasis. Before I undergo my lung cancer treatments, I need to address my brain mets first but the procedure is beyond our means. I have to go through SRS and it costs a lot.

I don’t have work for I am the caretaker of my grandson that has spectrum autism. Her mother is working full time so she can provide for him. My eldest is working full time to provide for our living expenses and my middle child is also full time working but just enough for his own family. This has become very difficult for us.

I will be forever thankful for anyone who will support and help me. Thank you very much.

I am attaching here the quotations for treatments for my cancer and surgery for brain mets. I am also listing the cost down here. These are in Philippine Pesos but I also included the total in US Dollars.
