Hello, my name is Lauren, and I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope and a parent’s greatest plea for the life of my child.
My 5-year-old is currently battling end-stage kidney disease. At such a young age, no child should have to fight this hard just to survive, and no parent should have to sit helplessly by. Yet here we are, facing the unthinkable and trying to stay strong through it all.
We’ve been told that a kidney transplant is the best and only long-term option for my child to live a full and healthy life. The wait for a donor match is long and uncertain. We are actively searching for a living kidney donor while doing everything we can to manage the physical, emotional, and financial toll this journey brings.
Every day includes doctor visits three days a week, hospital stays, medications, and countless hours researching and reaching out. I’ve had to take time away from work to be by my child’s side. It’s a full-time fight, and while I’ll never stop fighting for them, we now need help from our village.
Your donation will help cover:
• Medical expenses and transplant-related costs
• Travel and lodging for treatment out of town
• Living costs while I care for my child full-time
• Recovery support before and after transplant
