My name is Michele, and I am reaching out to ask for help. My daughter Eva was diagnosed with advanced congestive heart failure on June 3, 2024. She was doing well on the prescribed medication until a few months ago. On February 5, 2025, Eva found out that she was pregnant. When her cardiologist was informed of the pregnancy, he referred her to an advanced heart failure cardiologist who specializes in heart failure during pregnancy. The new cardiologist immediately took her off all of the medications that were essentially keeping her heart function from suffering further. Now Eva is faced with advanced congestive heart failure and an extremely high-risk pregnancy. Her symptoms worsened 2 weeks ago, and she was taken off work permanently. Her high-risk fetal medicine physician is planning on delivering the baby at 28 weeks, due to the strain that the pregnancy is putting on Eva’s already damaged heart. Her baby will most likely be in the NICU in Cleveland for at least 10 weeks, during which time Eva will need to stay in Cleveland to be with her baby. I am asking for financial support for her during this time, so that she can pay her essential bills and have the funds to be with her baby once delivered. I am hopeful that once she is able to restart her medication regimen, her health will stabilize. Anything that you can do to help will be greatly appreciated by myself, Eva, and our entire family. Thank you.
