Donate to End Kovu’s Suffering and Pain

Hello, my name is Lexi and I am praying for assistance for my poor dog, Kovu. I adopted Kovu back in 2019, right before the pandemic. He was the happiest, fluffiest, friendliest little puppy. Since late 2023, we have been dealing with severe and chronic allergies affecting his body and spirit. I have taken him to multiple vets and animal hospitals, and we always get the same diagnosis of generic allergies. I alone have spent close to $10,000 trying to support him, and we have yet to find the answer for the root cause. Kovu has been suffering in a cone for most of the last year because he is constantly itchy, inflamed, irritated, and scaly. He has been given blood tests, skin scrapings, Cytopoint injections, antibiotics, antifungals, medications, painkillers, and allergy tests. The list goes on and on, and nothing works, and I still don’t have the answers. His quality of life has completely diminished, and I cry almost every day for him. I just want my dog to live the happy and healthy life he once had. He, along with every pet, deserves that. I am praying and hoping coming on this platform can give me the support and answers I so desperately need. I have been on a waitlist for months for a specialty dermatologist and want to do mild/asbestos and fungal testing in my house to see if that is the root cause, all of which by myself I can’t afford. I am begging for help at this point before he deteriorates even more right in front of me. Anything will help at this point. Thank you and God bless!
