If you have ever had the privilege of knowing JoAnnah Piedmonte, you know she is the most caring and generous human being. Ever.
Now her, Twan, and her adorable family could use our help.
After weeks of being sick, 8-year-old Chelsea was sent to the ER on Friday, June 6th.
She was sadly diagnosed with cancer, Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The journey to health will be a very long one for Chelsea and her family.
Compounding the cancer is the fact that Chelsea is a strong, resilient, stubborn young lady with Down Syndrome. This makes even simple medical procedures like getting blood drawn much more difficult.
The family will be in the hospital for at least 30 days right now.
They have two children at home, Carter and Chelsea’s twin, Charlotte. They will need someone to provide care for them while JoAnnah and Twan are in the hospital.
The uniqueness and specialness of Jo and Twan’s twin girls is a magical and wonderful thing. It also adds many layers to an already complicated situation.
We would like to help take some financial stress off of the family so they can focus solely on the journey ahead for Chelsea.
Truly this is a “it takes a village” moment. Every single dollar helps and the family is truly grateful for all the support.
