Hi! I’m raising funds to help my family and myself get caught up on bills and maintain our home as I recover from Stage 3 breast cancer. I was diagnosed last year and underwent a double mastectomy with lymph node removal. I was unable to continue working. I underwent daily radiation for several months an hour from my home. During this time, I was unable to return to work as I needed time off every day. I take daily medications now and probably will for five to ten years. I have an ongoing lymphedema issue now and will likely be unable to return to work full-time anytime soon, according to the doctor. I have a teen still in high school right now.
I’ve unfortunately gone through my savings and am struggling to keep up with day-to-day expenses. I am in desperate need of money to pay the monthly bills as well as groceries. Because I get a small disability check from the VA due to injuries I incurred years ago on active duty, I am ineligible for many typical community resources. However, this is inadequate for the survival of a family for any length of time. I’m going to need to make substantial home repairs this year. Any help is appreciated! Thank you and God bless.
